Ready to unleash your powerful potential?
Christina specializes in preparing young actors (ages 6-20) for auditions in a variety of contexts. Whether your child is going in for their first or fiftieth professional audition (Broadway, Regional Theater, National Tours, Commercials), battling nerves before auditions at their middle or high school, or prepping for college conservatory auditions, Christina can help them walk into the room feeling confident, capable, and ready to rock it!
(Note: Christina is experienced with coaching adults as well, and will accept some inquiries on a special request basis, but reserves the bulk of her energies for young people who are learning what it means to be a theater artist.)
Coach with Christina in an NYC studio, in her home studios (Montclair or South Orange), or in your home (within 30 minutes of Montclair.)
Our work together can focus on:
Confident slating - Introducing yourself to the casting panel/artistic team.
Audition songs - Acting the song, telling the story, finding the character's truths
Monologues - Character, motivation, tactics
Sides - Performing scenes with a reader you've never met, really listening, making bold choices.
Dance - If you have attended a dance call and learned an audition dance, Christina can also help you motivate and act through the movement material. (This is primarily be relevant for professional young actors auditioning for Broadway musicals.)
Note: In working together on audition material, memorization is not mandatory, but the more familiar you are with the material, the more we will be able to dig into the deeper work that shapes a polished performance.
Coaching is available in 30 minute, 45 minute, or 60 minute sessions.
30 minutes = $45
45 minutes = $60
60 minutes = $80
Note: Add $10 per lesson if Christina is traveling to/from your home.
You have completely changed my perception of theater, and what it means to be a good actor."
Working with you was the first time I was treated like an artist, and learned to make an artist's choices. I have worlds more confidence in myself now. Thank you for teaching me how to tell the story."
